Longbranch Recovery & Wellness is a welcoming addiction recovery center located in Abita Springs, Louisiana just outside New Orleans. Opened in 2017, the center operates inside a beautifully renovated historic hotel, offering serene surroundings and modern comfort amidst lush gardens and peaceful.

They offer a full continuum of care from medically supervised detox to residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and specialized extended‑care for veterans. Programs typically last 30–90 days, but clients can transition flexibly between levels depending on progress and needs. Residential capacity is about 32 clients, with shared bedrooms and en‑suite bathrooms, plus communal amenities like a pool, yoga studio, coffee bar, and on‑site restaurant with gourmet meals prepared by a private chef.

Longbranch follows a 360° wellness and holistic model treating the mind, body, spirit, and family as a whole. Therapy includes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, REBT, psychodrama, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and experiential therapies like yoga and nature walks. Their program blends the traditional 12‑step philosophy with SMART Recovery principles to support client choice and empowerment.

Clients with co-occurring mental health conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, or depression receive dual‑diagnosis care including medication management, psychiatric oversight, and individualized therapy sessions. They maintain a high clinical standard, often with 6:1 client‑to‑clinician ratio and weekly sessions with both psychologist and psychiatrist.

The facility is Joint Commission accredited and accepts most major insurance plans, including Humana, BlueCross BlueShield, TRICARE, and others. They also include long-term case management, aftercare planning, alumni support, sober‑living referrals, and family care workshops that extend for up to a year after discharge.
