Sheepgate Men’s Program

The Sheepgate Men’s Program, operated by Adult & Teen Challenge of the Midlands, is a Christ-centered recovery program designed specifically for men battling drug and alcohol addiction. Located in Nebraska, this program goes beyond traditional treatment by combining spiritual growth, biblical teaching, and practical life skills with structured addiction recovery strategies. Its mission is rooted in transforming lives through faith and guiding men toward lasting freedom from destructive behaviors.

Unlike short-term programs, Sheepgate offers a long-term residential environment, typically lasting 12–18 months. This extended stay allows participants to fully immerse themselves in recovery while building a strong foundation of discipline, accountability, and spiritual renewal. Residents live in a supportive community setting where peer accountability and mentorship play vital roles in the healing process.

The program integrates daily devotionals, prayer, church services, and Bible study into treatment. These spiritual practices are combined with structured work responsibilities and classes designed to build character, responsibility, and resilience.
