Tara provides a full continuum of care, starting with medically supervised detoxification. Clients are monitored around the clock by licensed medical staff to safely manage withdrawal symptoms before moving to the next treatment stage. Residential treatment typically lasts 30–42 days and operates at separate, gender‑specific homes. During residential programs, clients participate in therapy sessions, psycho‑educational classes, and many supportive activities in a nurturing group environment.

After residential care, clients can transition into the transitional residential program primarily designed for men where they continue stabilization before returning home. They attend community meetings, engage in service or work, and build sober networks to reinforce recovery habits. For those who want flexibility or must maintain work, school, or family responsibilities, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings for nine weeks. It includes education, counseling, and relapse prevention training.
