The Ness Center Residential

This center provides a specialized residential program for pregnant and postpartum women struggling with substance use disorders (SUD), including alcohol and opioid addiction. It offers comprehensive care for both mothers and their children up to age 12, creating a nurturing environment that supports family-focused recovery. The program combines detoxification, mental health services, and trauma-informed care to help women address the complex challenges associated with pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and addiction. Comprehensive Care for Mothers and Children Clients participate in individual, family, and group therapy, complemented by care coordination, parenting education, and outpatient mental health services. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available to support detoxification and manage withdrawal safely. Children benefit from age-appropriate programs that foster emotional growth, while structured family counseling and activities help strengthen bonds and promote collective healing. Supportive Housing and On-Site Childcare Mothers reside in a home-like setting where they can remain close to their children throughout treatment. Integrated childcare, educational programs, and school support allow mothers to focus on recovery while ensuring their children’s needs are met. Shared meals, joint therapy sessions, and access to outdoor spaces such as walking paths and play areas provide opportunities for connection, family bonding, and holistic healing.
