Asana Recovery

Asana Recovery provides treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions across Orange County. Their outpatient programs include day treatment (partial hospitalization), intensive outpatient, and general outpatient care. Using a biological, psychological, and social (BPS) model, the team develops individualized treatment plans tailored to each client. They also offer specialized tracks for veterans, couples, and individuals managing dual diagnoses. Personalized Treatment with Evidence-Based and Holistic Care Each client begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify their unique clinical needs. Asana Recovery’s multidisciplinary team comprised of physicians, clinical social workers, therapists, counselors, and support staff works collaboratively to adjust treatment plans as clients progress. Their services include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and medication-assisted treatment when appropriate. In addition to clinical care, clients participate in addiction education, holistic therapies, family counseling, and recreational activities to support overall well-being. Continued Support Through Flexible Outpatient Programs Asana Recovery offers several levels of outpatient care to meet varying needs. In their day treatment program, clients attend sessions for six hours per day, five to seven days per week, and select a focus area vocational, educational, or employment to support long-term stability. The intensive outpatient program provides three hours of therapy per day, Monday through Friday, with options for in-person or virtual participation. General outpatient services allow clients to attend sessions a few times per week to maintain therapeutic support, peer connection, and access to recovery resources. The center also incorporates 12-Step and SMART Recovery meetings into its programming. Specialized Programs for Veterans, Couples, and Dual Diagnoses Asana Recovery offers targeted treatment tracks to address specific populations and needs. The veterans program brings veterans together in group settings and includes trauma-focused therapies, life skills development, stress management strategies, and holistic approaches. Their dual diagnosis program treats addiction alongside mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, Asana Recovery supports couples who are pursuing recovery together, with customized plans developed by a multidisciplinary team to address both individual and relationship-focused needs.
