After completing residential care, clients can smoothly transition to Banyan Chicago for outpatient services, including day treatment and intensive outpatient programs. Comprehensive Continuum of Care Banyan Heartland’s medical detox program provides 24/7 monitoring by a skilled team of physicians and nurses, ensuring client safety and comfort throughout the process. Residential treatment is gender-specific, and the center actively involves family in recovery through weekly family therapy, psychoeducation, and intervention support. Following detox and residential care, clients have the option to continue their recovery at nearby Banyan Chicago through outpatient programs tailored to their ongoing needs. Evidence-Based, Clinically Driven Therapy Clients at Banyan Heartland work closely with master’s-level clinicians who provide both individual and group therapy. Treatment includes daily group sessions and at least one personalized 1:1 session per week. Therapeutic approaches encompass cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), biofeedback, art therapy, Gestalt therapy, family therapy, and additional evidence-based modalities. Dual-Diagnosis and Specialized Care Banyan Heartland provides comprehensive care for co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and ADHD.
