Calo Programs

Calo Programs is dedicated to helping young people heal from trauma experienced during critical developmental years. Teens impacted by trauma often find it difficult to build and maintain healthy relationships with family and peers. They may also struggle with regulating their emotions and can display inappropriate behavior at home or in social settings. At Calo, clients begin a journey toward building a healthier self-image, with a strong emphasis on safety, emotional healing, and evidence-based therapeutic support. Their treatment methods include animal-assisted therapy, neurofeedback, individual counseling, occupational therapy, and residential care. Specialized Age and Gender-Based Care Calo offers tailored programs for children and adolescents aged 9 to 18, requiring active involvement from parents or guardians in the treatment process for reactive attachment disorder. Their services are divided into preteen programs (ages 9–14) and gender-specific adolescent programs (ages 14–18). They address a wide range of challenges, including ADD/ADHD, attachment and adoption-related concerns, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder, depression, family separation issues, grief, low self-esteem, and trauma.
