Center for Change Idaho offers a Day Treatment Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents and adults of all genders experiencing eating disorders. These programs are ideal for individuals who do not require inpatient hospitalization but need more structure and support than traditional outpatient care provides. The PHP focuses on actively addressing eating disorder symptoms, reducing the risk of relapse, improving body image, setting meaningful goals, overcoming fears, and maintaining social, academic, or vocational responsibilities. Clients engage in individual therapy, family sessions, nutritional counseling, experiential and psychoeducational groups, as well as supported therapeutic meals and snacks. This structured environment allows individuals to practice newly learned coping skills in a safe and supportive setting. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides comprehensive treatment while allowing clients to continue meeting daily commitments such as school or work. Services include individual counseling, dietary guidance, family participation, daily group therapy, and personalized goal planning to promote steady progress in recovery. Treatment is provided in a beautifully restored home located in the historic Hyde Park District of Boise’s North End neighborhood.
