Chrysalis House is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Lexington, Kentucky. They offer both inpatient and outpatient services for women who have substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They treat people who have mental health conditions and substance use conditions at the same time. They take private insurance as well as Medicaid. They also take self payments on a sliding scale.

When you first enter the facility you will have a full assessment to determine if you need residential or outpatient treatment. They will give you a medical exam to find out what kinds of medication and therapy you require.

The residential program is centered around families and women are allowed to have their children come for overnight visits. If you have been court ordered into rehab, they can help you navigate the child welfare system to restore parental rights.

They use a variety of different methods to treat patients including cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma based therapy. In addition to group and individual sessions, you will have drug and alcohol education. Knowing how drugs affect your body and those around you can give you an incentive to change. You will also have life skills training and vocational education.

The outpatient program allows people to come in for treatment during the day and return home at night. They have day and evening sessions. You may come in several times a week for treatment or just once or twice.
