Franciscan Children’s

Situated in Brighton, Massachusetts, just outside Boston and close to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, this center is easily reachable by public transportation. It provides comprehensive support for children and adolescents facing complex medical, emotional, and developmental challenges. Services include inpatient mental health care, rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and medical treatment for individuals from infancy up to age 22, all within a welcoming, child-centered environment. Building Lifelong Skills Care is delivered through a trauma-informed, family-centered approach designed to promote healing and sustained development. Children participate in individual and group therapy, mindfulness and self-regulation exercises, expressive arts, occupational therapy, and psychiatric care. Together, these services help ease distress, strengthen coping abilities, and enhance emotional and behavioral stability across a wide range of conditions.
