Located just outside Phoenix, Legacy Recovery Center welcomes individuals from across the United States to heal in a private residential setting surrounded by serene desert scenery. Led and operated by psychiatrists with more than 40 years of combined experience, along with a highly skilled clinical team, the center provides comprehensive addiction treatment and mental health care. They specialize in treating complex conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder alongside substance use disorders. Please note: Legacy Recovery Center does not accept Medicaid or state-funded insurance plans. Personalized Care from Master’s-Level Clinicians At Legacy Recovery Center, treatment is never one-size-fits-all. Each client undergoes a thorough assessment that explores the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing their addiction or mental health condition. Based on this evaluation, an individualized treatment plan is created. Care may include psychotherapy, psychiatric services, diagnosis-specific therapeutic modalities, and holistic practices. Clients are encouraged to engage in activities that promote overall wellness, such as physical fitness, spiritual growth, balanced nutrition, meditation, yoga, and reconnecting with meaningful interests. Participation in support groups, including 12-Step programs, is available but not required. A Comfortable, Home-Like Environment for Healing The property is thoughtfully designed to feel welcoming and residential rather than institutional. Clients stay in private or shared rooms with full-sized beds on a secure, gated two-acre campus. Amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub, citrus trees, and walking paths that create a calming atmosphere. Fireside gatherings, on-site recreational activities, and guidance from a professional athlete specializing in fitness and nutrition further support a healthy and restorative lifestyle. Continued Support Through Aftercare Planning To promote long-term recovery, Legacy Recovery Center provides comprehensive aftercare planning. This may include arranging outpatient therapy, connecting clients with support groups, and offering referrals to community resources. These services help ensure individuals maintain progress and receive ongoing support as they transition back to daily life.
