McCallum Place offers comprehensive care for eating disorders in children, teens, and adults through a combination of intensive medical and psychological treatment. Clients benefit from around-the-clock supervision, nutrition education, support from registered dietitians, and academic assistance provided by on-site teachers and tutors. Team-Based, Compassionate Approach The multidisciplinary team at McCallum Place includes psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, nurses, dietitians, child and family therapists, and sports medicine specialists. In the residential program, clients participate in regular one-on-one sessions with a psychologist, multiple weekly sessions with an eating disorder therapist, and weekly meetings with a dietitian. Care teams collaborate weekly to review progress and adjust treatment goals. Ongoing support is provided during meals and snacks, and more intensive medical interventions such as nasogastric tube feeding are available when necessary. Comprehensive Treatment for Eating and Mental Health Disorders McCallum Place treats a wide range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, body dysmorphia, laxative misuse, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). They also address co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, self-harm behaviors, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and personality disorders, ensuring a well-rounded and individualized treatment experience.
