Located in Canterbury, New Hampshire, NFA Behavioral Health is a dual diagnosis drug rehab for adults, offering a full continuum of addiction treatment, including detox, inpatient residential treatment, intensive outpatient program (IOP), dual diagnosis treatment, and aftercare.

New Freedom Academy is a 20 bed residential treatment facility that is part of Granite Recovery Centers. NFA specializes in dual diagnosis treatment of individuals with substance use and severe mental health disorders. Their programs are for 30 to 90 days. Clinicians will help to determine the appropriate length of treatment and placement following a comprehensive mental health assessment. Program activities include individual and group therapy, family counseling services, psychoeducation, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), wellness education, illness management, Seeking Safety treatment, and skill development. Amenities include a private estate, yoga, meditation, nutritionally balanced meals, exercise classes, comfortable accommodations, organized social activities, and 24 hour medical staff on hand.

NFA Behavioral Health is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the Better Business Bureau, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and LegitScript, reflecting high quality addiction care. Most major insurance plans, Medicaid, and private pay are accepted.
